what heytappr is

heytappr is an android voice assistant that lives in a floating notch on your screen. with your permission, it can see what's on your screen through android's accessibility service, answer questions out loud, point at things, and, in agent mode, operate your phone for you (tapping, typing, opening apps). it can also run proactive routines and nudges, and generate cloud "deep research" reports. these terms are an agreement between you and heytappr ("we", "us") and apply whenever you use the heytappr app or website.

your account & eligibility

heytappr doesn't require an account, the app works from your device. to purchase a heytappr premium subscription, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. by subscribing, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

heytappr premium

heytappr is a paid app, a heytappr premium subscription is required to use it, there is no free tier. premium covers heytappr's ai models and cloud deep-research reports. pricing:

• one monthly plan, localized per region — the exact price for your billing country is displayed at checkout before you pay.
• taxes (including gst where applicable) are handled by the payment provider and may be added at checkout depending on your location.

your price is determined by the billing country you enter at checkout. the subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. you can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep premium access until then. we may change the price or what premium includes with reasonable advance notice, changes apply from your next renewal.

payments & merchant of record

payments are processed by dodo payments, acting as merchant of record. that means dodo payments is the seller of record on your transaction and handles card and upi processing, applicable taxes (including indian gst), invoices, and payment security. your purchase is also subject to dodo payments' own terms. we never see or store your card number or upi credentials. we receive billing details needed to manage access and support, including your checkout email, subscription and customer references, status, amount, currency, renewal date, entitlement dates, and a device reference. once completed, first and renewal payments are final and non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise or a charge is duplicate or unauthorized. cancellation only stops future renewals. see our cancellation & refund policy.

india-specific billing

if you're in india, recurring payments are set up through rbi-compliant mandates (upi autopay or card e-mandates). you will receive a pre-debit notification before each renewal charge, and you can cancel the mandate at any time through your bank or upi app to stop future charges. renewal debits can complete up to around 2 days after they are initiated.

acceptable use

use heytappr only for lawful purposes. don't use heytappr, including agent mode, to break the law, to harm, harass, or defraud others, or to interfere with other people's devices or accounts. the agent asks for your confirmation before consequential actions, and you are responsible for the actions you ask it to take and confirm, just as if you had done them yourself.

ai disclaimer

heytappr is powered by ai, and ai can make mistakes. it may misread a screen, give an answer that's out of date or wrong, or take an action differently than you expected. always verify important information before relying on it. the agent asks before consequential actions, but you should review what it's about to do. heytappr is not a substitute for professional advice, don't rely on it for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

the service

heytappr is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. we may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service, we'll try to give notice when a change meaningfully affects premium.

limitation of liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, heytappr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. our total liability for all claims relating to the service is capped at the amount of fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, if you haven't paid anything, nothing beyond what applicable law requires). nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

termination

you can stop using heytappr at any time by cancelling any active subscription and uninstalling the app. we may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, including the acceptable-use rules. sections that by their nature should survive (like limitation of liability and governing law) survive termination.

changes to these terms

we may update these terms from time to time. if we make a material change, we'll post the updated terms here with a new effective date and take reasonable steps to notify you. continuing to use heytappr after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of india, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of india, without limiting any consumer rights you have under the law of the place where you live.
