heytappr for
slack triage while your hands are busy
coming back to slack after two meetings means an unread wall. heytappr reads through the visible channels and threads, tells you what needs you versus what can wait, and drafts the replies you dictate.
unreads sorted into needs-you and noise
with slack open, heytappr reads the visible channel list and messages, scrolling deeper on request, and gives you the triage aloud, who's waiting on you, what got decided, what's just gifs. it perceives your screen, not your workspace's api.
replies that read the room first
your dictated reply is drafted against the visible thread, so it addresses the actual question with the actual names. heytappr speaks it back and only types into slack when you tell agent mode to, a review step your coworkers will silently appreciate.
moving between channels by voice
agent mode taps through slack's sidebar and search via android accessibility to open the channel, DM, or thread you asked for. describe it naturally, the incident channel from this morning, and it reads the visible names to get there.

questions people ask
- Does my company's Slack admin need to approve HeyTappr?
- HeyTappr isn't a Slack app or integration, so there's nothing to install in the workspace. It runs entirely on your phone and operates the Slack app's visible UI. That said, it does send screen context to OpenAI when needed, so check your company's policy on assistant tools for work content.
- Can it monitor Slack and alert me when something important arrives?
- It isn't always-listening and doesn't watch apps in the background waiting for messages. It helps during sessions you start. Its proactive nudges trigger when you open something like a document, and they come with daily caps and quiet hours, they aren't a notification system.
