heytappr.

heytappr for

hands in the dough, phone answers anyway

the recipe is on your phone and your hands are covered in batter. heytappr reads the next step aloud, scrolls when you say so, and answers the mid-cook panic questions.

“hey heytappr, read me the next step, and how much is 200 grams of flour in cups?”

the screen stays clean, so does your phone

voice takes over the tapping. agent mode scrolls the recipe, jumps back to the ingredient list, and reads steps aloud on request, so your flour-dusted fingers never touch the glass.

conversions and substitutions on the spot

no buttermilk, oven in fahrenheit, recipe in grams? ask and get the answer without breaking rhythm. because heytappr sees the recipe, it converts the actual quantities on screen, not hypothetical ones.

scale the whole thing by voice

cooking for six instead of four? ask heytappr to recalculate every ingredient visible in the recipe and read the new amounts back as you go through them.

questions people ask

Does it work with recipe videos?
It can't transcribe a whole video that isn't showing text on screen. It shines with written recipes, blogs, apps, screenshots of nani's card, anything readable on the display.
Do I have to keep tapping the notch with dirty hands?
Start a live mode session before you begin and the conversation stays open for follow-ups, next step, repeat that, how long left, until the session ends. HeyTappr isn't always-listening outside an active session.
