heytappr.

heytappr for

texting, dictated and double-checked

hands full, message waiting, the oldest phone problem there is. heytappr reads the visible thread aloud, drafts your reply so it actually fits the conversation, and types it out when you say go.

“hey heytappr, read me this thread and draft a reply saying i'll be 20 minutes late”

replies with the thread in mind

because heytappr reads the visible conversation before drafting, the reply picks up names, plans, and tone from what was actually said. no more "who is this and what did i agree to" moments when dictating blind.

works in your messages app, whichever it is

google messages, samsung messages, most SMS apps, heytappr operates whatever is on screen through android accessibility, so there's no list of supported apps to check. if a screen hides its controls, it says so rather than mis-tapping.

not while driving, please

voice texting sounds like a driving feature, but heytappr works the visible screen, which is not a thing to do in motion. dictate before you set off or while safely stopped, the message will keep for five minutes.

questions people ask

Will HeyTappr send a message the moment I finish dictating?
No. It drafts first and reads the message back. Typing and sending only happen when you explicitly ask agent mode, and the whole thing plays out visibly on screen where you can stop it. That review step is deliberate, texts are easy to regret.
Do I need to be online to send an SMS through it?
Yes, HeyTappr itself needs an internet connection because the voice and reasoning run on OpenAI models, even though the SMS goes out over your normal cellular network. No connection, no assistant.
