heytappr + django

add heytappr to a django app with one script tag in your base template.

where it goes

add the script to your base template, usually templates/base.html, before the closing body tag. every template that extends it picks it up.

things worth knowing

if you use a csp middleware, allow https://cdn.tappr.app as a script source.
give the controls your guides point at stable ids or data attributes. styling classes change often and break selectors.
allowlist your web origin in the heytappr workspace, or the embed won't load. add every origin you serve from, including staging.

questions

is there a django package?

no. there's nothing to pip install, just the tag in your base template.

does it work with the django admin?

only if you add it to the admin templates too. most teams add it to the customer-facing base template.
