heytappr + wordpress

add heytappr to a wordpress site by adding the script to your theme footer.

where it goes

the simplest way is a header and footer code plugin: paste the tag into the footer scripts box. if you manage your own theme, you can add it to footer.php before wp_footer().

things worth knowing

use a child theme if you edit footer.php, so theme updates don't wipe the tag.
caching plugins may need a cache clear before the tag shows up.
allowlist your web origin in the heytappr workspace, or the embed won't load. add every origin you serve from, including staging.
