heytappr + nuxt
add heytappr to a nuxt app by adding the script to the app head in nuxt.config.
where it goes
in nuxt, add the script to app.head.script in nuxt.config.ts so it's included on every page.
nuxt.config.tsts
export default defineNuxtConfig({
app: {
head: {
script: [
{
src: "https://cdn.tappr.app/embed.js",
"data-tapprid": "your-business",
defer: true,
},
],
},
},
});things worth knowing
adding it in nuxt.config means every route gets it without touching individual pages.
give the controls your guides point at stable ids or data attributes. styling classes change often and break selectors.
allowlist your web origin in the heytappr workspace, or the embed won't load. add every origin you serve from, including staging.
questions
does it work with server-side rendering?
yes. the script runs in the browser after the page loads, so ssr pages work the same as client-rendered ones.
is there a nuxt module?
no, and you don't need one. the head config is all it takes.
