heytappr + vue

add heytappr to a vue app with one script tag in index.html.

where it goes

in a vite vue project the script goes in index.html at the project root, below the div your app mounts on.

things worth knowing

it runs outside your vue app, so vue router navigation won't reload it.
give the controls your guides point at stable ids or data attributes. styling classes change often and break selectors.
allowlist your web origin in the heytappr workspace, or the embed won't load. add every origin you serve from, including staging.

questions

do i need a vue plugin?

no. there's no plugin to register, just the script tag.

does it work with vue 2?

yes. the embed doesn't depend on your framework version, it works on the rendered page.
