HeyTappr for
HeyTappr for ux and design teams
Tooltip tours drawn on screenshots go stale the day the interface changes. HeyTappr guides users through the real interface — it spotlights actual DOM elements, speaks each step aloud, and advances when the user acts — and it tells you when a design change breaks a guide.
Guidance anchored to the real interface
Each step targets a live control via a CSS selector; HeyTappr scrolls to it, spotlights it, and advances automatically once the user uses it. There are no static screenshots to drift out of sync with the design.
Questions are usability data
The needs-attention list records what users asked that no guide covers — confusion described in the users’ own words, on the pages where it happened. That is research signal you get continuously, not once per study.
Broken selectors surface immediately
When a redesign changes the DOM and a guide’s selector no longer matches, it appears in the needs-attention list. You fix the selector in the console instead of discovering the breakage from complaints.

Questions teams ask
- Does HeyTappr overlay fake screenshots or a simulated UI?
- No. It operates on the host interface itself, spotlighting real DOM elements and advancing as the user interacts with them.
- Can designers control the wording of every step?
- Yes. Every step’s copy is written and approved in the console before publishing, and HeyTappr never improvises beyond it. Email shrit@HeyTappr.com to book a demo.
